Started in 1989, Mr. Raj Mehta saw a need for a vegetarian italian fine dining experience. Pioneering ahead, he grew Little Italy to over 50+ outlets, 20 cities & 4 countries. We bring you authentic italian food inspired from secret family recipes of great italian chefs, prepared lovingly, with great taste & superior quality!

La Pizzeria began its journey in Pune in
1989
Little Italy made its Mumbai debut in
1995
In 1996, we crafted our very first cheese, starting a delicious
journey of our own
In 2007, we launched innovative franchising formats to take our brand to
the global stage.
In 2018, we unveiled AKSS, a modern Indian casual dining experience, across
four vibrant cities.
In 2019, we launched cloud kitchens with a delivery-focused concept across
three cities.
Senoritas opened its doors in 2019, bringing a fresh
flavor to the city.
In 2020, we launched Piazza, a superfast Italian QSR brand redefining
quick-service dining.
In 2020, amidst the pandemic, we introduced Acasa by Little Italy, delivering gourmet goodness straight to consumers’ homes. Acasa made its debut in 2020,
bringing gourmet flavors right to your doorstep.
In 2021, our journey grew global with a third UAE outlet in Dubai’s Business Bay and new footprints in the
UK and US
In 2023, we expanded our reach nationwide by bringing our flavors to leading retailers including
Nature’s Basket, Reliance GO Fresh, Dorabjee, Reliance Fresh, and Bombay Gourmet Store.

Rajesh Mehta
Founder & Managing Director
An alumni of Food Crafts Institute (FCI) Pune, Raj started La Pizzeria India’s first Italian restaurant in Pune in 1989, He is responsible for strategic leadership and has taken the brand from strength to strength since then.
Amrut Mehta
Director
An active part of the organisation since 2011, Amrut has taken up various roles in the organization before assuming his role as Director in 2019, he carries on the legacy of Little Italy with a vision to add more brands under the portfolio and expand overseas, He oversees the Operations, Marketing, and R&D. He is responsible for the conceptualization of new dishes on the menu, as well as inception of new brands under the parent company.
